This is a classic Tibetan cuff design handmade in our workshop. The "Om Mani Padme Hung" Mantra is the mantra of Compassion, the mantra of Chenrezig Buddha. Tibetans believe that reciting the mantra out loud or silently, seeing it in written form, etc... help invoke the blessings of Chenrezig.
The first syllable "Om" is blessed to help you achieve perfection in the practice of generosity;
"Ni" helps achieve perfection in the practice of tolerance and patience;
"Pe" helps to achieve perfection of perseverance;
"Me" helps achieve perfection in the practice of concentration;
and the final sixth syllable "Hum" helps achieve perfection in the practice of wisdom.
