The Akshobhya Buddha is one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas (Great Buddhas of Wisdom). Akshobhya is the Immovable or Unshakeable Buddha. His mudra (gesture) is the Bhumisparsha (earth witness) mudra. He embodies steadfastness, his wisdom is mirror-like and the antidote to anger and hatred.
